We spend all year, perhaps even years, trying to be spiritual, practicing resistance, sharing beyond our comfort zones. Our teachers tell us not to wait for the returns, for the goodness to come back to us. But let's face it; we all do. When things go wrong, we are wonder where all of the Light we've been revealing has gone. When things go right, we can be deluded in believing that we can 'get away' with being selfish and still be rewarded. But there is a great secret that lies within the answer to 'when' we can reap the benefits of the energy we put out there.

The kabbalists explain that in the same way that the heart is what sustains the body; Israel is the source of energy for the whole world. It's the location of creation, the origin of humanity, the source of everything. All of the souls of the world originally come from Israel and then they are shipped to their various countries to be born.

The Kabbalists go on to describe a unique phenomenon that takes place each time we enter the land of Israel: we manifest all the totality of light for every positive action we completed. In other words, every good action we do, every sharing action we take, reveals only a partial Light when we are outside of Israel. One kabbalist goes so far to say that the only reason we do good deeds at all, is so when we go to Israel we can manifest them.

Simply being in Israel literally opens the gates of blessings in our lives and allows those blessings to flow.
